JORDAN DRAPER
Associate Advisor, Pro Player & Prospect Services
Jordan’s love for sports was evident at a very young age. He started skating at 2 years old and had dreams of becoming a hockey player. When Jordan was old enough to start playing the game at 4 years old, it would become the beginning of a long hockey career. Playing his minor hockey in Sherwood Park, it opened doors for him to continue with his passion past minor hockey.
With a junior career that started in the WHL, and moved to the AJHL, Jordan found his home with the Spruce Grove Saints. After helping the Saints become a top ranked team in the nation for multiple seasons, in his last year of junior in 2010 he would have a big hand in bringing the AJHL championship to Spruce Grove. From there Jordan would go on to combine his love for hockey with his interest in business and graduated from the NAIT business program with an emphasis in marketing. Jordan would also help the NAIT Ooks hockey team to a championship in 2013 before moving on to begin his professional career.
Jordan played 7 professional seasons between the USA, FRANCE and GERMANY. He has played with many high-end players and made many connections in the hockey world. As it became clear that he was ready to leave his playing career behind him, Jordan decided to move into the business side of athletics and join a new team off the ice with Link Management.
As an advisor with Link, Jordan looks forward to using the skills and knowledge he gained in post-secondary and combining it with his hockey experience, knowledge and passion. Jordan is excited to be able to help and guide athletes with their careers and be a small part of their success during and after their career, on and off the ice.
